Newalbanynews-exchange.com went live Aug. 16, 2006.

We are the state’s first true news web, incorporating a print edition which is published once a week and a web site updated at least once daily, including all the editorial and advertising content of the print version, plus some material not in the paper edition.

The organization was founded by Jerry Shiverdecker, Lynn West, Kim Surber and Jean Ashcraft.
